WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES-FREDERICKSBURG, VA-SUN., MAY 3rd, 2015-FUNDRAISER TO RAISE MONEY FOR EMPOWERHOUSE

Hi,
As you may have heard, I am hosting the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event in downtown Fredericksburg on Sun., May 3rd. The walk will begin at the downtown commuter lot, where Susan Spears will conduct the opening ceremony. Immediately following the open ceremony.... men will walk 1 mile (in her shoes---literally!!) to the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill, where there will be food, drinks, live entertainment , silent auction, and a closing ceremony. The walk is to bring awareness to domestic violence and raise money for Empowerhouse.

In order to make this event a huge success and raise the most money for Empowerhouse we will need the support of our community!! We need event sponsors, silent auction donations, and walkers (individuals or teams!!). Anything you could do would be greatly appreciated!!
