River Glen Project

River Glen

Nestled amongst the gently rolling hills just outside Historic Fredericksburg lies a very special development – River Glen. We all have heard the phrase, “going green,” so you be the judge. Our project encompasses 220 acres, 50% of which has been set aside as “conservation area.”
River Glen is comprised of 43, two-plus acre estate lots encapsulated in a forested buffer, preserved in perpetuity; peace and tranquility assured. These wide buffers have not only created ideal home sites, having all the advantages of a much larger lot, but have also preserved privacy, created exclusivity, and perhaps most importantly,  provided security of investment for the discriminating buyer.
These buffers, some of which are 800 ft. deep, have also created corridors for wildlife, protected water quality, and preserved the forest and the rural viewshed of River Road. Just 4.8 miles from the city limits and 7 miles from I-95, the lucky residents of River Glen will have a commute into town, free of congestion and traffic lights, via River Road traveling along the scenic Rappahannock River.
Located within the Reservoir and River Protection Overlay Districts, this location assures the immediate area will always be “low density,” thus creating greater value. With the first lot over a thousand feet from River Road, roof tops will never be seen, only tree tops.
The developers of River Glen have taken great pride in the creation of this conservation subdivision. Future residents will count themselves lucky to have found a home there. Located within the River Bend High School district and convenient to Harrison’s Crossing, River Glen is the perfect place to live; so close to everything, yet so private.
